Fiat 132GL

Going strong

Well over a year has passed since the last major repairs. In that time I think all I've had done is the carbs adjusted. The car is running well. We recently drove from Christchurch to Abel Tasman National Park, and another weekend to Arthurs Pass National Park. Fuel use since the tune-up is down. On the longer trips I managed 10.9km/L which I think is pretty remarkable (and that's not driving slowly either).

Here are some photos I took when I recently polished it. I have used Mothers product for many years, and while it's quite a lot of work (it's three stages), the result is great, and very long lasting.

The next big event is the Twin Rivers run through Christchurch on the 24th Februrary 2008. The car always attracts attention there.
