Network Intelligence
Network Intelligence lets you visualise a network and the traffic flowing on it in a 3D virtual world. Traffic leaving the network is also represented, and this is hugely beneficial to peering groups wishing to identify suitable peers. The graphical user interface lets you build a network quickly from router configuration files, and subsequently the statistics gathered from the Netflow Exports are overlaid on top of the network representation. Bare-bones Netflow Collector
Working with the same Netflow Export statistics used by Network Intelligence, BBNFC is a handy utility for capturing and displaying the raw contents of these statistical packets. This utility is completely free and source code is included. A pre-compiled version for Intel/Linux is also in the archive that is available for download.
Note that BBNFC is a very simple program. If you want 3D OpenGL graphics and a fully distributed statistical aggregation package, then you really don't want BBNFC, but Network Intelligence instead.
